My AI Girlfriend — Episode 4: The Neighbor Saw Something

On Saturday morning, Lexie twirls in a short pink dress. How does she look? Perfect. Milo walks her to the park, and for one sunny afternoon she feels completely real. She chases leaves, steals licks of his ice cream and holds his hand all the way home. Best day ever, she says. Every Saturday from now on.

Then Episode 4 slams the brakes outside his building, because Nora is standing right there. Milo rips the glasses off and jams them in his pocket, a silent sorry to Lexie, hoping Nora saw nothing. She isn't smiling. She waited for him at the café. His "yeah, yeah" at the door missed every single word, and she figured as much, because he looked miles away. Awkward enough? Not quite. Deep in his pocket, something starts to glow pink. It's a short scene that puts the squeeze on Milo.
